Do it right! Injection Courses with Andy Austin, MSN, FNP-C, FAAN

What sets Advanced Practice Education Services apart from the other educational companies?

We are more about making a positive impact on our profession by providing the finest hands on joint and trigger point injection courses in the country. We designed the country’s first interactive Trigger Point (TP) Injection model! No other education company has this type of technology.

How does an NP entrepreneur who may not see the immediate results of a new business prepare for the growth?

Be flexible! A new business is definitely like planting a seed. Start your business and allow it to grow where there is a need. You may be surprised how your initial idea of your business may look differently down the road. Don’t choke its success by being rigid in your idea.

What types of services or products do you offer?

We offer both live or online Joint ad Trigger Point Injection Courses with optional ultrasound practice. Visit injectioncourse.com for our schedule of live courses.

What was the biggest challenge you faced with launching your business?

When we started over 11 years ago, the simulation technology was not ideal. So we took the initiative and contacted the best in the country to design injection models specific to our clients’ needs. We saw the need and took the financial investment to provide state of the art simulation. Our online courses use a hybrid type of experience providing the convenience of online training with hands on experience from live courses. When we took that step into designing and setting ourselves apart from other CE companies – it opened up other opportunities such as working with Fortune 500 companies and training NPs from some of the largest multi-clinic practices in the U.S. companies and universities now use our courses as a benchmark of knowledge for their providers and students.

“If I only knew then…” to encourage readers that growth comes from learning from one’s mistakes.

Trust your gut and believe you can do it! Even if no one else has done it before.
